P239-8320.1F19 - Authenticity in the Classroom (Weekend Intensive)

Course Details
Course Description: In order to grow into engaged, productive adults, all children must have the opportunity and the support to develop their authentic selves. This series of hands-on sessions will demonstrate lessons, routines, and discussion techniques that foster a culture of authenticity and demonstrate how existing curriculum can support social-emotional learning. When educators develop a culture of authenticity in their classroom, they promote equity and help students build emotional competence, confidence, and social skills that allow them to thrive both academically and socially. Participants will walk away with an implementation plan for bringing authenticity based social-emotional learning into their classroom or school community.
