Course Description:

In this course, teachers will learn how to integrate art into their teaching practice in order to improve student learning. The course is for educators of all subject areas who would like to improve their ability to engage students and support higher order thinking skills. Through modeling, guided practice, application and feedback, teachers will develop skills for leading successful art inquiry discussions in the classroom and/or museum. The course will take place at the Brooklyn Museum. All are welcome, and no prior experience with art is necessary!
