Course Description: Many teachers use Google Classroom to teach and interact with their students in classrooms today. Why not use it to teach and support parents? This course will teach you how to set up and use Google Classroom with parents to share academic objectives, classroom learning, subject area content, and school resources. In this course, you will learn how to use Google Classroom to provide your parents with educational materials, classroom information, and other tools to help them support their children in more effective ways. Participants will design a Google Classroom; create surveys; research academic and educational materials for parents on a variety of relevant parenting topics; write lesson plans; and design resources to help communicate and interact with parents in a positive way to empower them to support their children more effectively.
