Course Description: Wishing that you could find a way to capture your students’ excitement for the bugs, spiders and other multi-legged creatures around the world? In this course, you will learn how to foster positive attitudes towards the amazing world of insects and the important role they play in the environment and our own lives. Learn how to cover language arts, math, social studies, and life science standards in new hands-on ways. You will explore the biology behind these amazing animals, from life cycles to coloration. We’ll show you how to make our Butterfly Garden an educational exploration, and help you transform classroom activities into a very buggy adventure! Each participant will receive supplemental instructional resources.
