Course Description: This self-paced online course is designed to empower PK-12 educators in recognizing, understanding, and providing support for students with anxiety, all within a framework that prioritizes Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Dispositions & Practices (CR-SDP). Aligned with the Danielson Framework for Teaching Components and Next Generation learning standards, this course goes a step further by emphasizing the infusion of CR-SDP throughout. The curriculum actively encourages reflection on personal and institutional beliefs, explores the complexities of identities and cultures, and promotes the affirmation of students' diverse identities. By cultivating critical inquiry, participants will engage in a transformative learning experience that transcends conventional approaches, fostering a community of educators committed to embracing cultural responsiveness and equity in their support for students with anxiety. |
