Course Description: Have you personally experienced the powerful benefits of creative writing, or hope to do so? Do you ever think to yourself, “Wow! My students have such creative ideas… if only they could be shared!” or, “How can I foster creativity in my students who seem to just want to play Fortnight?” Then you will thoroughly enjoy this course! "Guiding & Publishing Student Writing (P-12)" addresses an urgent need for students to develop their writing skills and practices in such a way that enriches their learning and changes the world. This course is dedicated to helping teachers to find their own voice through the practice of creative writing, and to guide their students to the same discovery and practice, making their students’ beautiful, important voices heard, loud and clear – through various means of publishing. In this course, teachers will learn an easy and inexpensive way to actually publish students’ writing - so that EVERY student can become a PUBLISHED AUTHOR.
