Course Description: In this course, Mindfulness for You and Me: Implementing Mindfulness to Improve Outcomes Overall, participants will learn how mindfulness can help improve the social and emotional wellness of students and teachers as well as improve cognitive function. This course will give teachers and opportunity to see mindfulness as a way to build rapport with students and improve the culture and climate of the classroom. Also, teachers will learn how to use mindfulness as a way to decrease their own symptoms of stress, anxiety, and improve their own wellness. This course was developed by Chanelle R. Walker (McCloud) who is a licensed teacher, author, TEDx Speaker, and teacher wellness advocate.
